His name is Bam-Bam.<\/p>\n<p>This was Bam-Bam last year, when his favorite hiding place was on top of the pedals of the truck.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/headsetchatter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/3544956436_2c3034f3fe_b-500x375.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"3544956436_2c3034f3fe_b\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1662\" srcset=\"http:\/\/headsetchatter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/3544956436_2c3034f3fe_b-500x375.jpg 500w, http:\/\/headsetchatter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/3544956436_2c3034f3fe_b-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/headsetchatter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/3544956436_2c3034f3fe_b.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This year he is a lot older and bigger, and has a new attitude: he is the guard dog of the truck.  He does a very good job, although he sometimes takes his job a little too seriously, even when friendly people like us go near the truck.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/headsetchatter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/4349661679_c970001e30_b-500x666.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"4349661679_c970001e30_b\" width=\"500\" height=\"666\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1663\" srcset=\"http:\/\/headsetchatter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/4349661679_c970001e30_b-500x666.jpg 500w, http:\/\/headsetchatter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/4349661679_c970001e30_b-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/headsetchatter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/4349661679_c970001e30_b.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><br \/>\nAt a recent load out, I saw him sticking his head out the window, so I took a walk down to the cab to say hello.  Even with Scotty there talking to me, he wouldn&#8217;t stop barking, apparently declaring that this was <i>his<\/i> truck, and who the hell did I think I was to stand outside of it?<\/p>\n<p>Scotty says that if you pick him up and hold him he&#8217;s still very cuddly, but I couldn&#8217;t reach up that high to pet him or pick him up, and I was supposed to be working, so I had to settle for taking a picture of him while he barked at me imperiously from his perch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last year towards the end of the tour, our truck driver, Scotty D., got a puppy.
